MINCHA Nightly Schedule

LEARNING BLOCK 1
4:30-5:00 - Exploring spirituality & prayer

B'nai Mitzvah Boot Camp - Cantor Halpern will meet with participants who need additional support in advance of their B'nai Mitzvah.  
Podcast HaShavuah ("podcast of the week") - Staff member Jocelyn Gordon will select an interesting (brief) podcast every week that attendees will listen to and then reflect upon as a group.  
Activity HaShavuah ("activity of the week") - Participants will work together in active, team building challenges.


LEARNING BLOCK 2
5:15-6:00 - Learning about Jewish text, history, ritual, & tradition.

During this block, teens will be divided into groups by grade and/or identified gender. Learning will happen in a 3-4 week rotation plan around a central Jewish theme.  Learning will be lead by clergy and education staff.
